Baked Oatmeal

Let me first say, don't judge me...but I don't eat breakfast...maybe once a month I will. I honestly have a stomach ache whenever I do, so I choose not to. Brooks on the other had is a huge breakfast eater. He LOVES oatmeal. He even makes it as a snack since he doesn't eat dessert. My friend Julie gave us the this recipe, and Brooks loved it...and so did my kids! You can eat it as is, or pour milk over the top. Either way, if you are an oatmeal lover, this is the perfect breakfast for you!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of applesauce or oil
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup milk
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp maple flavoring (optional)

Mix all together, pour in a 8x8 pan, and cook for one hour in a 350 degree oven.  Serve warm or cold.
